Valorant was released in 2020. The action of this team-based first-person tactical shooter unfolds in the near future. In the main mode, there are 2 teams that consist of 5 players each. One team assaults and the other one tries to defend. You can select from 14 characters, each with their specific abilities. First, you get only the basic weapon — but you can buy more. The sum of virtual cash at your disposal depends on your success in the previous round. Apart from the standard, there are such modes as Competitive, Spike Rush, Escalation, Unrated and Deathmatch. The developer, Riot Games, is trying to turn Valorant into an esports discipline.
